Navdom Technologies Selects Enfora’s Mobile Tracking Platform for Automotive Insurance Application

Enfora, a leading global supplier of intelligent wireless networking solutions, today announced that Navdom, a leading supplier of mobile resource management services in Spain, will deploy Enfora’s Spider® Mobile Tracker wireless platform in a mobile tracking system for a leading insurance company in Spain. The Navdom system will monitor real-time driver mileage, speed and location, allowing the insurance company to reduce customer premiums based on driver habits and behavior. Visibility and access to such data will allow for more accurate premium calculations, thus increasing competitiveness for the company. The system also increases driver security with the use of a panic button feature that is enabled on the Spider platform.
Commenting on this system, Martin Acosta, Navdom’s director of operations said, “This is a significant win for Navdom. For this win it was essential that we had a platform that could handle the complexity of our requirements. Enfora’s reputation in this sector, and the robustness and proven reliability of its track and trace offering, were key factors in the selection process.”
